View Full Version : More then a trio?
I was woundering if anyone has had more then a trio when it comes to breeding? I mean like 3 females and 1 male. There is a female I really want to breed with my male thats already in with 2 other females and I dont want to take a female out. I also cannot have another tank in my room only upgrading tanks to a bigger size and eliminating one. If anyone has done this let me know what size of tank i will need and anything else.
Thanks
Ben

You can put as many females as you want in there provided they all get along and there is enough room for them. I have a 1.5 colany of normals together!
Thanks for the reply. Now all I need to know is how bug the tanks should be to hoouse that many.
Thanks
Ben
i've heard a general rule of thumb, to go by - 10 gallons per gecko, so you should be fine with a 40 gallon. Bigger wouldn't hurt though, maybe a 50 gallon. But i don't have a large group, so no personal experience.
