I have a colombian rainbow boa, I've had it for around a year now and it's been doing great, just tonight I begun the drop to night time temperatures and noticed it was running low on water, I filled up its dish and placed it in the tank just like I've done a million times, it's pretty active at this time and spends alot of time just moving about the tank, hiding in different spots.
It came out of a pile of moss I have in the corner and approached the water dish, as it took a drink I thought it was going to yawn but it sort of opend its mouth and closed it quite fast about 4 or 5 times, It's back to normal now and is currently spying on me from its humid hide box as I type.
Do I have anything to worry about?
the snake is kept in optimal conditions give or take a degree, slightly higher than recomended humidity (my RH hovers at 82% - 88%)
