You didn't help me with the tank size pal,
I'll sell the kingsnake to you though....
RTBs do not grow that fast so as long as the snake has enough room to move and around you should be fine, you could keep a baby in a 45 gallon for awhile then just upgrade as it gets bigger :rsmile:
If you sell your king snake make sure it finds a good Home!

i would like to buy one tank for the rtb and not have to up grade what would be a good tank to purchase?
I would build one or go with a Vision tank or animal plastic but sometimes when you put a new snake in very large enclousers it can stress them out.

An optimum size of tank for the boa(if you never want to upgrade) should measure 4 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft. This is what I keep my 7 ft columbian boa in and it does excellent.

Hey---did you know that you shouldn't keep a Ball Python in a glass aquarium? They are best kept in rubbermaid enclosures. Check out the Ball Python forum.

I have kept my ball in a glass aquarium for over two years now and haven't had any problems.
