This is my male southern scrub python, in shed.....he is about 3-3.5 feet and loves to strike, he sometimes is nice out of the cage but sometimes still tags me.

does anybody have any experience taming these guys out, i know he is still young, but im more afraid of getting tagged by him then my anaconda

Hehey, i know that little guy :)!!!! Thats the one you got from burmesemaniac right?!?! I raised that snake since it was still a bit red at the store where i used to work!!!! When he was sold he wouldnt bite at all and ate like crazy, then things seemed to have changed... sad. He wasn't really territorial either, never bit me when i was taking him out, hopefully he calms down soon, he's soooo cute :)

im sure he will be fine after a couple of weeks or maybe months but for now its a little frustrating but i get used to it.he actually shedding right now i will take pics tomorrow and post them up. he will look good

nice too know that it's in good hands. wish you the best of luck. I'll be posting pics of my retic this weekend.It's one amazing snake, much more down my alley!!!!!!!!!

here he is eating for me a 60g rat, he can take more but it my first time feeding him since i got him, but took it like a champ . Still a little nervous but we'll work on it. my camera sux so you cant see how light this snake is, he is actually really light brown.

i have handled him only from the cage to the rubbermaid when cleaning the cage, thats about it. and he likes to musk but hasen't bit me so i cant complain
