dont see a problem considering you have the tank nicly packed with places to get cover..you may have the perfect setup for ppl looking for a large tank for balls... just as he grows make sure you give him lots of suitable hides.. a tank that size has room for a bunch.. so give him choices.

i had problems with too much humidity in the past but it is ok now. it's between 55% and 65% now. i don't know why anyone should house a snake that size in a smaller tank. and i don't like boring tanks with newspaper on the floor.

i have two hideboxes in the tank. one on the hot side and one on the cool side. but the snake likes to be on that piece of wood in the middle of the tank. she would be hiding if she was stressed out right? and she wouldnt be eating right? well... she NEVER missed a meal and i have her in that tank from the moment i got her (she was not a baby at that time).

well balls hide no matter what.. wether stressed or not..

people keep balls in smaller cages because many things have been tried and the best out come is a rubbermaid or a custom wood.. of a smaller size.. thats not to say that it will or will not work for every snake.. you goyt lucky.. yours likes it and is healthy.. now mine probably wouldnt.. she enjoys outdoor time and handling but she would never survive in a large tank... she barey mooves as it is.... she usually just comes out of one hide, takes a drink and goes straight into another. my tank is 38x18 and she isnt small ( 3.5 feet ).. thats what she likes.. as far as i knoiw she came from a home without proper care most likely in a large tank.. never had a proper feeding schedual or humidity.. so for her a smaller tank where she can feel more secure is better.. now my 1.5 foot male will be going into the same size cage soon.. and will live there for at least 2 more years.. or until i upgrade to a 48x18 for all my snakes. when he goes in that size.. its really not much smaller than yours..

now ill apoligise.... that tank looks MASSIVE compared to the measurements..

if so.. thats not bad at all.. a little tall but a good size... it looks absoutly massive in the pics.. and the cm things throwing me off.. ( i know inches)

i didnt wanna erase my entire post.. its alot of typing.. but in general.. its a good size tank that is so many gallons cause of the hight.. makes its a handleble size.

it is a bit tall bit i don't think that's a problem... rubbermaids are practic if you have a lot of snakes and you are breeding them... well i only have two snakes for now and i don't have a reason to put them in a small rubbermaid.
