I'd say if you are paying 30$ for a "100% het for albino" there is either something wrong or your just out and out being lied to.
Though it has been a while since I've looked at prices, but last time I looked it was a couple hundred for a 100% het albino.

if you can get proof that it is 100% het (ie parents are both hets, or one was albino and one was normal) that that is a great deal, hets go for around $250+ for males and $750-$1000 for females

Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

30$ for a regular ball python seems too good to be true, and you think 30$ for a poss het is possible? lol. regulars go for 75-125$males and 125-225 females around there, those are just average prices. Sometimes you can find regulars for 50$ or so from some breeders at expos. happy hunting

Well, i dont just randomly read every members profiles. I wouldnt have a life if i did. Also in the states 30$ would not be 30$ cdn, it would be 50$ or around that area. So what i was saying was true, you can find regulars for 50$.
im sure you were lied to about that het. if they were telling the truth no wonder it died, there had to be something wrong with it. i got my female bp (normal) for $35 3 years ago and every year prices go down so you could get a normal for $30 but not a het.
as for pros and cons on bps:
pros- they dont get big, most of them are very calm and hard to get one to bite you, if given the right environment arnt prone to many health problems.
cons-trouble feeders, have to make sure humidity is correct for good sheding, hide all the time.
colombian red tail boas:
pros-if given alot of handling are usually very sweet, males dont get very big, seen out of their hide boxes more than most boids. care is very simple.
cons-females can get 8 feet plus, crazy feeding response (have a good chance at geting bit when they are hungry)

Its on the left side of his screen.. So even if you have a life you shuld still notice.. But even if 30 usd is 50 cdn is true.. But he is in the states so if you told him 50 he would think 50 us which would then equal 80 cdn
