Feeding on shed day?

One of my balls, my best eater, just shed in the middle of the night. He was due to eat a few days ago, but since he was in shed I didn't feed him.

Normally, I would just go ahead and feed him today. I've fed him on the day when previous sheds have been completed without problems. He'll even eat while in the blue (back in the day before I learned that was a no-no).

Anyway, I recently read somewhere that one should wait at least two days AFTER a shed to feed. Is there any truth to that? I mean, once a shed is done, it's done, what difference does another two days make?

I haven't read anything like that, but you will notice after the shed, the snake show hungry and search around for food, this tell the new skin is ready to go. They know the true.

Yup. Thanks Edmond, I'm just going to go ahead and feed him tonight. I know he'll eat, and he is cruising about in search of a meal. Just wanted to confirm because I found that odd when I read it the other day.

I've never had a problem feeding on shed day with balls or any other snakes.

I feed only if the food item is just killed, because I do not want my snakes injured.
