I've seen adult uros for as low as $35, my 4 incher was $50 but it was well worht it. He eats good is healthy and is CB. Nigers seem to be the next most available and I've seen imports about 8 inches for $60. Baby ornates are usually $200. Adult ornates go for like $500. I've also seen a proven breeding pair of eagyptians for $500.

I don't know anything about uromastyx but there are two sources in the area that you can check out. Yesterday I was at Global Exotic (http://www.globalexoticpets.com/) here in Kitchener and saw some there, no clue what kind ( yellow markings). Then there's Gillard's Reptiles (http://www.gillardsreptiles.com/index.htm) in Cambridge. They breed uros as well as sell them in their store.
Both Global and Gillards will be at the St. Jacobs show if that makes it easier for you to check them out. They are also great places to deal with, I don't hesitate recommending them.
Hey DragnDrop where is gillards located?
Uromastyx are such wonderful pets and great breeding projects!!! I still have 5 captive bred baby saharan uromastyx if you're interesetd. They hatched in July05.
They are also referred to as Nigerian uromastyx(U. geyri). I cann't get enough of these beautiful lizards! I also have 2.2 Ornate uros, 2.1 saharan uros, 1.1 mali uros, 0.1 somalian uro(very rare in Canada). They're kind of like the "Lays" chips, you cann't just have one! Good Luck!
What are the prices of those babys?

Here's a pic of the mom and dad. Both are very colourful. The mom is a "male mimic" female.

and here's some of their offspring. They won't get their adult colour until they are about a year old.
