I thought you guys might like to see this little guy. When I bred my Black Back male (father of the Red Axanthics) to a normal female I produced 8 eggs. Out of those eggs hatched out 4 black back which were better looking than their black back father! Also produced were 3 normals and one that had a really weird colour and pattern on it that hatched out for about 3 days and then died hours before I got home from Daytona. The best way I can describe the weird looking one is a white pastel with a funky pattern.
Anyways......the reason for the post was to show off a couple pics of the one black back. All 4 black back look almost identical to each other pattern wise. This little guy was a little problematic to start feeding but he's eating good now. I took pics of him while he was eating yesterday.
