I am wondering on whether or not to get this snake, ive had snakes before so this isnt my first. The only turn down that i have with this snake is that multiple people say that feeding them is hard, i was wondering whether or not that is true and many people suggest dead prey but i prefer live. My eastern kingsnake has had no problem taking down live prey including medium sized rats, so i dont see why a python would have any problem with live mice. Any info would be appreciated.

I feed alive for so many years. However some people do have a large collection of balls and is difficult to raise so many rats for them and thus buy frozen rats. And other reason is if you have a snake cost you several thousand dollars, do you want to take a chance for the rat fight back and bit your snake. I do have several case that the rat bite the snake while the ball construct it. Just feed what ever you feel comfortable and work for you. sometimes you have no choice because the snake will make up their oen mind.
