OK, so after 14 years, I've decided to start keeping snakes again. Picked up a baby ball last month in Daytona. When I bought him, the breeder told me Norman was taking live pinky rats. After 2 weeks, I now have Norman taking f/t mice. I feel comfortable that will will also take f/t rats. Does anyone know a supplier in the central Florida area that I can purchase rodents from? If I can't find a local distributor, would anyone be interested in splitting shipping costs? In my research, www.rodentpro.com has the best price on frozen rats. I'm looking forward to your responses.

if you have 50+ snakes then you would probably want to use a site such as www.rodentpro.com. however if you only have a few snakes, your best bet is any local reptile show. they will be much cheaper than a pet store and are usually better quality. buying from a show will save you from having to have them shipped.

Well, just got back from a local reptile show (www.repticon.com) in orlando and the only rodents there were live. Now that Norman is taken f/t, don't want to go back to live. The next big show here is in Nov., and I can't wait that long. So if there is anyone in the Seminole county area that can help me find frozen, please let me know. Also, if anyone is interested in splitting the shipping cost, please let me know.

Thanks.
