Just got my first python 2 weeks ago and I am stoked!! Its a childrens python (starting small) named hades and he is awsome. Really good eater, very docile and pretty active in his enclosure. He's approx 6mths old and is over a foot in length right now, coolest eyes ever!!! If there is any childrens python keepers out there that wants to throw some tips or advise at me please feel free, thanks.

Well I don't have a Children's Python, but I do have a Spotted Python. Honestly Antaresia Pythons are awesome snakes!

The only advice I can give you is make sure that enclosure is COMPLETELY escape proof. Man are they good at getting out. But that's most snakes lol

Enjoy your Children's, I've had my Spotted for four years now. She was my first snake.

My first was a childrens named anubis he was an awsome snake, but i got a really good trade hated to give him up. He would always try to escape at lights out, you would hear him falling off the top of the tank all night.
