there are many fields...herpetology,zoology biology etc or vetinary work all require lots of schooling....so stay in school ! get a degree in zoology and or biology and then specialize in herpetology...or u can go to college in florida and get a degree in herpetology

What Florida college would you be talking about? I live in Florida, & have yet to find any school that offers a degree in herpetology. To my knowledge, a limited number of schools offer classes in herpetology, but none offer actual degrees.
As for different careers in herpetology, you've got a few choices. Museum & zoo curators, herpetology professors, wildlife conservation, etc. Note than many herp jobs require a Ph.D. in Biology. Many of the jobs that only require a bachelor's don't pay very well.
