just got this little guy 2 days ago. i wounder how long he will stay friendly for :)

Surprised he's friendly now. All the caimens I've run into were angry little guys right from the start. Sure he's warm enough? LOL

i was suprised too.. the guy that i bought him off said he never bit him aswell

mine was really nice when i got him too. i bought him at a reptile show, he was in a rubbermaid containor with maybe 10 other babies and you could pet all of them, right on their teeth and they would do nothing. didnt even bairly have to hold onto them, would just sit still in your hand, they were so cute and sweet. mine started opening his mouth at me within a few days of owning him and about a week after that he was finally chomping at me. im quick though, i never got bit! (iv sold him now) good luck with yours, its quite adorable

Hey congrats nice caiman. out of all the caimans we have only one of them has been nice and is still nice to this day never bitten

Do caimans always eventually turn mean? Or if you handle them enough will they stay nice? Just curious :)
