Its all one enclosure, the white rod in the middle is for support so the glass isint crushed, but its temporary till i can find a piece of maple or birch, but i have a surinam red tail, a columbian redtail and a ball python in it, its 6'x2 1/2' x 24" tall.
I wanted them to have lots and lots of gettin around space, the surinam is 5'7" so i thought it'd be nice if he could stretch out for a change, he was in a 4' long tank and looked cramped, so i made this one so they would all be happy 4 life.

3 diff snakes in same enclosure, not a good idea. different species, not a bright idea. I would try to change that up a little bit. but whatever you feel is alright. just my opinion. Nice work on the enclosure though

that poor bp, he must be pretty stressed living with 2 boas. thats a great idea using a big cage for a tv stand. I would love to do something like that, but i got an old 40" mitsubishi that takes 3 people to move.
did you draw up the plans yourself, or did you get them somewhere?

I have to say that that's a really nice enclosures, but I also must say that it's really stupid to be having 3 different snakes in the same enclosure! You should get out and build another two enclosures for your BP and one of your Boas! Just my $0.02, but I'm sure that just about everyone else on the board would agree!

i didnt draw any plan's i just built it in my head and went from there.....
it'll support big weight, my tv is 240 lbs, and the tank is made from 110 lb doors so its weighing in at 180ish...
i dunno about the BP, she seems to be having just a fine time, i see her out every night, climbing on the boas and they dont seem to mind her....
and the boas are allways one on top of the other, they're almost inseperable, just love being together.
one thing you could also worry about is the vibrations from the tv causing stress to the snakes. Anouther thing that redtial is going to get much bigger then your ball python he might end up seeing him as a source of food, but hopefully not.
