breeding question?

ive just aquired an adult female that i want to breed to my male. its my first attempt at breeding so i'll probably be bugging you experienced breeders over the coming breeding season.

anyway, how long should i cool them for before i place them together? and also do i continue to feed them untill they choose to stop? or stop as soon as i start cooling?
