Bateaters are a cross between a reticulated python, and a burmese python. As you probably know both of these snakes are around 20feet long and 200 lbs so bateaters, are probably going to be around this size when fully grown. There are extreamly rare, and if you find one sale, your extreamly lucky.

thats what i wont to know.
I personally LOVE bateaters, and will probably work with them down the road.
The name "Bateater" was coined from a reptile dealer as a joke on a price list, saying guess what this is.

I think the first breeding of a burm/retic was accidental BTW.

We Albertans can't have them anyway due to the Retic & Burm laws here as it includes all Hybrids derived from them as well. DOH! Mark
