Hey guys i am getting 1.3 gargoyles from some of the top breeders in canada and my only question is tcan i keep the together.....i mean ill keep the mail seperate and the females together and then when breeding time comes introduce one of the females to the mail cage and then after a week or so introduce the next female or so on.......eventually i plan to keep 3.9

If i decide to keep them alone.....will a 10 gallon be ok for an adult gecko

Any help will be appreciated

Hi, I have kept many gargoyles in the past but only have 1.2 rite now. I didn't have any problems keeping them together this year. I made sure there was plenty of space, food and hiding spots. At this time my male is seperate from the females until next breeding season and I keep a very close eye on the females' weight and behaviour as 2 females can sometimes be just as territorial 2 males. A couple years ago I ran into a minor problem when I noticed a male biting a females leg agressively (this was no breeding attempt) luckily I separated them before it got too extreme. As for the tank size, I'm going to say a ten gallon tank is too small for a single adult, some may disagree, but I would have something bigger. Always make sure there is more vertical space than horizantal. When introducing them to eachother next season, re-set up the male's tank completely different and introduce both to that one tank at the same time, that way you lower the chances of the male becoming too territorial towards the female or vice-versa. Hope this helps you out,
