I acually found this one. they get up to 2 feet long. ive never seen them for sale because people say they dont make good pets. Ive only had it for two days, so i cant agree or disargee with them. They are eally pretty though arnt they? and yeah its a colubrid.

They are very pretty snakes i might add. I love the ring around the neck, and the bottom colours. And their size and figure are very nice, they remind me of garter snakes. Lemme kno how it goes with keeping him captive. I'd sure love to get one of those enxt time i visit flordia.

Southern Ringneck Snakes are very easy to keep.... But they won't reach near 2 feet in length. They average out at about 10 inches in length, some get to 15 inches.

I do carry established Southern Ringneck Snakes.... :)

How long did it take yours to start eating? Ive had mine for about 3 days so i dont think it will take anything yet. Are crickets fine for them?

NO RINGNECK SNAKE WILL EAT CRICKETS.

I feel like I'm having to say that in every thread.

Leave the snake alone for a couple days, then offer it either fish or worms. It will most likely take one.

I Live In California And Found One In My Back Yard When I Took It To The Pet Shop They Told Me They Eat Earth Worms And Are Very Hard To Keep As They Shouldnt Be Handled. The One I Found Had A Red Belly. I Just Took Him And Set Him Free. They Are Great Looking Snakes
