The little guy is super tame. He's only tagged me once on the pinky and it was because I accidently pinched his tail in between the enclosure. He likes to musk though~! But yesterday we had him out for 35 mins and he was fine which is always good~!

Looks great! Thanks for shairng!
On a side note, IMO I would not have the snake out for that long, personally I restrict having them out to 20 mins max and that even includes when soaking or doing something to the snake, etc... I normally dont have my snakes out for more than 5-10 mins at a time.

Awesome little Borneo, looks great! How old is he?

Why such short times? (just a question)

IMO it stresses the animal to have it out for so long and I also dont have a personal desire to manhandle my animals and stress them out for too long just because they are there and I can. The only times they ever come out of the cages is for cleaning/maintnance/soaking or if someone comes over and wants to see them/hold them. I do enjoy holding them but to me its less of a stress factor on the animal and I am content simply looking at it, its not like the animal is any different in my hands(or in my case arms seeing as they are all fairly large).

EDIT: Hey Lostboys, are you from Edmonton? Just wondering cause I know of the lostboys breakdancers here. If not, then just ignore this, haha. Cheers.

That's a good reason not to have them out. I was just wondering, we don't take our out much, we usually have them out when we're cleaning or showing them off. Though now, we have constructed s 'Snake Tree' and Isis seems to like it. Thor, as usual, tries to explore everywhere else but the tree!
And no, we are not the Edmonton Break dancers... sorry.

He hasn't musked in a week which is great~! I try to handle my Borneos every second day b/c cranky Bprneos/Bloods are not cool~! Haha I don't normally have him out that long, but he really seemed to be enjoying himself. I don't constantly hold him, and I let him explore. When I know he wants to go back and is fed up, he shows it. He tries to get away at every opportune time and will not let you hold him. I simply put him back into his rubbermaid and he is fine.

Beautiful looking Borneo, you have an awesome collection of short-tails/bloods.
You look like you know what you're doing and talking about, so be wary of advice given.

Would this have anything to do with what I suggested? If so, I am quite sure I have more experience with bloods(although this is a borneo, but they are closely related) than YoungBuck does.

That is doesn't,
I try to warn everyone to be wary of advice given on forums.
Alot of people are willing to give advice, experienced or not.
:firestart How much experience do you have with borneos/bloods?

No worries, I was just curious.
2.5 years with bloods, and i've personally owned 8 or 9, having 3 at the moment, and have interacted with many others, although I couldnt guess a number, from neonates to large adults.
Cheers man,
C.

I may have only had a few months experience with Borneos/Bloods, but I have 6 years of experience with other snakes and 10 years experience with reptiles. By NO means what so ever am I a beginner with snakes. Not that anyone said I was...but just to back up what steelnink said about using my own judgement which I do. ;)

Hey no worries man im not arguing with that. I only have 5 years experience with snakes myself. I was just explaining my ethics and what I think about how long IMO snakes should/can be handled for.
Cheers,

It's all good,,,I do appreciate all the help I can get because I have been dealing with this type of python for such a short time. Don't get me wrong, I take bits and pieces from what everyone suggests and apply it to my situation. Like I said before, it is greatly appreciated~! ;)
