scary moment for me today when feeding my rosy boa. i had given him a pinkie, and he grabbed it and coiled around it, but at one point he let go of the pinkie with his mouth while still constricting it with the lower half of its body, he than moved back over his own body to grab the pinkie again but by the back end, it than continued consticting and coiling around the pinkie, he than started to consume it, it was at this point when he he started staightening out of his coils that he tied himself into a knot !!! he managed to swallow the pinkie but could not get the pinkie past it's 'neck' because of his body that was knoted below it. i tried to 'un-tie' him but than he just constricted himslef more and coiled into a ball, still with the pinkie right below its head, so than i decided to just leave him for a few minutes and he'll figure out what to do, so... a few minutes later he had untied himself, finished swalling the pinkie down to its stomach and all was good. (funny thing is the same thing happened to my corn snake a year before) the only reason this incident scared me was that the poor thing kept contricting itself when it was in a knot, thinking it was contricting the pinkie it was swallowing.

anyone else have this problem before?
