alright , one of my male boas is having some shed issues...all the temps and humidity are good, same as all the other ones, but ive yet to have a full shed. i get halves sometimes (2) but most of the time i get pieces. can anyone shoot me something wrong here?
are you positive your humidity is correct? when he starts to get dull and grey looking start raising the humidity even more. spray the cage once or twice every day. try this next time he sheds, if for some reason he still has a bad shed next time soak him right before hes going to shed. if you still have problems im not really sure what would be wrong, maybe some one else here can help.
Is he properly hydrated? You can also try injecting prey with water if you aren't sure if he is drinking enough water. Another common problem associated with bad sheds are mites.

well i've caught him drinking, and no sign of mites, when he turns dull i mist the tank 1-2 times daily until he sheds. well i'm goin to try the moist warm towel in a bucket trcik tonight, to make sure everything is gone and good
Do you use a light? Lights can dry the air out fast.

If you're using a screen top enclosure all the humidity is lost really easily so the best thing, that has worked for me and others time and time again, is to cover 3/4 of the top with plexi glass or something similar.
