hey guys .. my baby ball python ate about 2 weeks and 2 days ago.. and he still hasent deficated... i checked the temperature and its nicely sitting at 80 degrees and there a good amout of humidity on the aquarium.. ne help guys

Balls can go for a while without pooping...what kinda heat you usin?

No need to worry at this point of time. Give your snake time to do his business.

80 on which side? hot side? cool side? ambiant(sp?)?

bp's take a long time to "go", so I wouldn't worry quite yet.

well all as i have right now is the medium heatpad on the aquarium thats all

How are you measuring the temps? and how are you controlling the heat from the heat pad, and what size is the cage?

i have a 20 gal tank for now with a medium sized heatpad but it dosent have any controll for heat. i take my temperatures with a digital thermometer.. and he did juss take a poo it just took a little bit longer

What are you temps??????????????

Temperature is the most important aspect of keeping reptiles. If its not 90F on one side and 80F on the other side, you are keeping your snake WRONG.

Just wonder, did you check the hide box? My two female ball poop inside the hide box, but the corn snake poop inside the water dish.
