View Full Version : The Grudge
Holy cow! I thought the little boy was really creepy especially with all the black around his eyes and when he opened his mouth really wide and screamed like a cat! What was with the cat anyway? I thought the ending was really dumb because it didn't explain anything! That really ticks me off! :medangry:

I saw that movie a long time ago. Its pretty creepy. The ending didnt have anything to do with explaining anything. I understood everything perfectly. What did you not understand?
Why was the girl's jaw ripped off, and why was she in love with the guy that jumped off his balcony? Why did he jump off the balcony?Who WAS the grudge? Why/ How did that one lady with the wavy hair live! What happened to the little evil boys parents? Is he dead?

Its been a while sence ive seen the movie so i may be a little off. I cant quite explain why the girls jaw was ripped off but that dosnt really matter very much in the story of the movie. I belive the girl was in love with the guy because she work around him, found him attractive, her feelings grew, and she fell in love. The guy jumped off the balcony because when he went into the girls house he found every one was dead and was just so disturbed by what he saw that he killed himself. The grude was just a fancy name for the movie. the girl with the wavy hair survived because she was a goust. The evil boy was a goust his parents were the wavy hair lady, and her husband/boyfriend who killed her was his father.
i dont think hes dead because he was a goust just like his mom. Anymore questions?
no, that's good, thanks jay :D

no problem
The girl whos jaw was ripped off was the first house keeper,
Her jaw got ripped off when she got hauled up the attic door when she went to check where the noise was comming from in the very beginning of the movie
The boy was dead - his father killed him and his mother when his father found out that his mother was in love with the other guy.
The cat was the little boys cat before his father killed them.
The Grudge isn`t just a fancy name for the movie...The grudge was the fact that the house was occupied by the spirts of a very tramatic experiance in the house.

I personally thought the movie was quite cheesy. Not scary at all. My better half and I were sitting in the movie theatre, eyebrows raised in disbelief that anyone was screaming. Oh well, maybe we're just desensitized.
