i think there more fun to make fun of then listen to. though id rather listen to them then lets say country, blink 182, jessica simpson, and other music that might make my ears bleed.

I would never make fun of them, because i like them. but i think if there new music started to sound like what they had out in the eighties they would be alot more enjoyable to listen to.

I disagree. If you are a fan of metallica you have to understand WHY they did St. Anger...

There is nothing like old school metallica. Albums like Black an Ride the Lightning are unforgetable. St. Anger just didnt compare with these Albums, it was like a completly different band. I know that they have been going through a lot of personal changes lately but, i dont think that should effect there music.

I seen them live in concert last summer. By far the best concert ive been too so far. Opened by Godsmack, couldn't have asked for much more!

Sounds like it was pretty cool. My mom thinks im still to young for a metallica concert though (from her past experiences). But im still hoping to see them live.

Well, with security, it wasnt too bad, Atleast where I was in the stands. The floor got crazy and alot of people were thrown out for starting mosh pits or body surfing.... Lots of booze and drugs being passed around..so, I can see your mothers point. Wait a few years, It'll be more enjoyable for you then too!

Thats pretty much what she said was happening .she was on the floor and everone around her was either smoking (pot) or drinking.

St. Wanker was the worst album in hard rock history. I remember Metallica back when they were a heavy metal band. Now they have become so pathetic it's like they don't even try. I can't stand any of their new garbage. It's time for them to pack it in.

I just think they should start making new albums that sound like they music they had back in th 80's.

I think Metallica died shortly after cliff burton died..just about everything after And justice for All sounds like pop to me..and I don't even know what to call St. Anger.

I don't think their new stuff is ever gonna be as great as their old stuff. I don't mind St. Anger but I agree with Ken that I think it is time for them to 'pack it in.'
