I don't think it is a morph.
It's a pastel...nice snake for sure..
That's a friggin GORGEOUS "normal".
edit to add...
Pastels are not a morph, they are just a selectively bred, clean looking boa. I don't even like using the term, as it has so much "controversy" around it as well as so many people are quick to slap it on any lightly coloured normal, even if it doesn't come from any selectively bred line. Fact is normals come in all different colours and patterns, doesn't change the fact that they are normals though.

Not true. Pastels do exist, but you must be able to obtain the liniage to call it a true pastel.
I would say yours is a normal, with reduced pattern and extremely light sides. A gorgeous boa forsure but if you're unsure of its liniage I wouldnt just go ahead and call it a pastel.
Where did I say there was no such thing? I stated that they are not a morph, which they aren't. There is aboslutely no genetic mutation involved. They are selectively bred for their clean appearance, as well as the term is so freely thrown around by people anyone who has a clean normal (or even sometimes just regular looking normals), *even if it doesn't come from a selectively bred line*.

Alright, I guess I read your response wrong then. My appologies ;)
well like anyone else in this hobby I would say its a pastel for the simple fact its a really clean boa with reduced black around the saddles and looks really pink to me...this year I produced "pastels"...my male was completly normal but my female is a screaming pastel...Id say well over half the litter was pastel...im not to sure about genetics with pastels...but from my experience and what ive seen id say that its genetic...

Obviously its genetic. Anything that is past down to offspring is genetic, but it isnt a mutation in the gene's and Linds is correct there. I just thought she meant they shouldn't be labelled pastel.
The name pastel shouldn't and can't be given to an animal that looks good, but an animal that has history of it being line bred to achieve screaming colors, and I mean screaming. Just my opinion.

Jeff Ronne, the Boaphile, the man to first coin the term "Pastel" for that coloration did not place any type of claim on it. He is of the opinion that any bci (or actually bcc, in his opinion) that is clean, lacks a lot of the black, has washed out medallions and has an increase in the pink coloration is a pastel. It's the lack of black that brings out that pink.
That said, pastels generally get better looking and lighter colored as they get older whereas "normal" boas darken with age. However, our Lucy Pastel (produced by Mr. Ronne himself) darkened with age, but is still a "Pastel". Go figure.
Tom3R, I am of the opinion that your boa is pastel, and a very nice one at that.

Everything is genetic. Whether its inheritable through simple means like recessive or dominant is another thing. But all the visuals you see in the snake are controlled by genetics.
10x for all the replays... iknew already that pastel
wasn't an morph but i'm used to call it that way.. srry about it..
most people that have seen ADRIEN told me that he is an pastel,
i bought him as a normal in about 100-125$ when he was 2 weeks old from
some one i knew, at the time i didn't knew that he was spiceal
cuz from all the litter (42) only his brother and he survived
and he was extremly beutifull next to his brother, i live in israel
and around here things aren't so develepod (yet :) ) in reptiles "buiesnes"
and for what that i know he his the only "pastel" for now..
i'll take some photos of him whem he will be arround 150-170
so we can know for sure what he is, but i realy don't mind, cuz i am not
and comercial breeder..
BTW srry for all the spelling mistakes
10x agien
Tomer
