Tired of hearing about Tiger rats?

The first clutch hatched a few days ago and they are now beginning to shed. 8 of the 9 hatched fine, #9 died in the egg. *sigh*

We had given up on the female double clutching for us this year. Yesterday when I went to change their water I found a small clutch of eggs! I surmise she laid them 2 days earlier. 5 eggs and 1 slug, the slug was removed from the mass.

After being in the incubator all night with a wet paper towel on them they are looking much improved.

Hi there,
and congrats one more time! Nope, I´ll never get tired about your clutches and babies. Mine are very interrested in food, but not in mating... Oh well, maybe next year.
