Hello everyone,
I'm asking Santa for a new camera this year. Something that focuses better, faster etc. So, what I would like to know is what digital cameras you use.
And if you can post a sample pic for me please I would appreciate it :D I'm looking for something that focuses well, and preferably quick. With good macroing.
Right now I'm using a Kodak CX7530. Excellent camera, but the focus is too slow and sometimes it's hard to get it to focus on certain things, not for macroing anyways.
Thanks,
Shane

C-8080 is great for still shots, the lens/CCD combination are fantastic.
Canon G5 or G6, has lower resolution, but higher frame rate (for action shots)
Almost any SLR would be the best.
Nikon D70s. gives you a solid 3 frames/s as well as unlimited buffer size if you use a fast compactflash card. The D50 is also a good Nikon. The most important part of your system will be the lens. If you are considering taking close ups of snakes, invest into a good macro lens. My first choice would be the Tamron SP 90mm. It's about half-price the equivalent from Nikon, but its optical quality is just as high.

Minolta Nifcalette, its getting harder and harder to find film for it :)

Currently, I use a Pentax Optio30, but I don't like it because it doesn't focus quickly. I work at Black's Photography, and for anyone looking at a good digital camera that does macro work, my suggestion would be the Canon S2IS or a Nikon SLR. I'm prolly gonna be upgrading to the D50 or D70s. Both get awesome reviews. If you want reviews of just about anything to do with digital photography, go to www.dpreview.com. Hope this helps.

I'm using the Canon Powershot A40. I love it and it is user-friendly, but it is pretty well obsolete now.

The VX6100! OOOH YEAH!
Lol I have to use my camera phone, and send the pictures to my email.
We were at the beach...and I guess my mom didn't hear of a thing called "high tide." Lets just say it drenched her, as well as our camera =P
Thanks,

my old digital is sony mavica, and my newest one is a canon rebel with the bells and whistles. If youre looking for quality, I would definitely suggest the Rebel.
