I have found several of these snakes in my yard and need to know what they are. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks
Ok, what have I got to do to upload a file, it keeps telling me that the file is to big. I have edited the photo twice in photoshop?

My suggestion would be to create a photobucket.com account, which is free, and then just use a link to it. Or, wihtin the photobucket.com account, you can copy and paste an img tag to insert an image directly into your post. PM me if you want clarification.

Ok, I am still trying to upload a picture using photoshop. What in the world to you have to do to a picture to load it. How do you get a picture down to 24kb and still be able to see it well enough to tell me what kind of snake I have. Can someone tell me where I can go to see different types of water snake species.

Where are you located? Many states have web sites to help you to identify local animals. Example I'm in Virginia, USA. I go to google.com and search for snakes of VA and I get a list of sites. You could also search under water snakes and see what comes up.

in photoshop, go to "save for web" that should do it
