how big is the average male peruvian red tail boa.
i was wondering whats the difference between bci and bcc.
i currently got a "columbian" red tail boa.
it has bat shaped dorsal saddles and fine side "madallions" he is currently 2 months old. sorry if i said three months old before. he is 23 inches long he has grown 0 inches since birth. he is 100 grams in weight. his 2nd shed is under going.

Not all get larger than imperator but the Peruvians do have the potential to get quite large. Males can reach 8' - 10' but I would guess average is about 7'. We only have a young a female and hope she reaches maximum length, lol.

A good place to learn the differences of the subspecies is Boa Constrictors.com (http://www.boa-constrictors.com/)
