I have two African Dwarf Frogs, River and Riley. River has obviously grown and has shed skin several times (I actually saw it last night, it was really cool). Riley doesn't seem to be growing though. He (I think it's a he) seems fine and does eat. Is something wrong?

I know, but it doesn't seem like Riley's grown at all, and I don't think he's full grown. I'm really not sure at all if they're male or female. I haven't been able to tell so far. I can just tell you that River is noticeably bigger than Riley and has gotten bigger.

hmm all my frogs are about the same size but 2 of them are pretty fat. There about 15mm and maybe 40mm with ther legs extended. If your guy is eating fine and it doesnt seem like hes being bullied then I wouldnt worry that much.

ok thanks. I also needed something else answered... I bought some feeder guppies for them. They're (the guppies) smallish and seem like the frogs could eat them. I've seen one frog chasing them some, but they're all still there. So how long should I leave the guppies in before I can be sure they won't be eaten? I really don't want a bunch of guppies and I also don't want over crowding in my tank. I mean, it's only been 2-3 days, but how long would it normally take for the frogs to get them?

Id wait a week. Ive never used feeder guppies becuase I cant find any small enough. but with fish you should keep and eye on the Ph. How big is there tank?

It's a small tank (2.5 gal- ok for a pair of frogs), which is why I didn't want them in there for too long, and especially don't want them multiplying. I'd never seen any small enough before either, but when I went into PetSuperMarket and looked in their fish section, these seemed perfect size. They're all still in my tank though, so either the frogs think they're too big, or they're not really interested in them. I think I'll take them out tomorrow, since I have to clean the tank anyways. Thanks for the help.
