Im just wondering what is the best substrate for burmese pythons? I am currently using aspen bedding. Also what should I use for cleaning the glass on the aquarium? is the wipe out stuff good? thanks
Vinegar is an excellent glass and surface cleaner. I use it on glass, mirrors, countertops, bowls, etc. It gets rid of water scale effortlessly, kills germs, and is 100% non-toxic, and as a nice bonus... is dirt cheap :D

that's a good idea, I guess it could be used as a safety measure as well, if your snake is in a pissy mood, J/K thanks
I'm a firm believer in fuctionality/practicality over appearence. I use newpaper. It's basically free and relatively sterile. Most of my snakes are kept on newpaper with no problems. I don't use glass aquariums for any of my snakes, but I clean all my enclosures with a 10.1 bleach solution, and all my glass with with windex or some other glass cleaner. I use antibacterial dish soap on all my water bowls wich get washed when ever they need to be or when the cage needs cleaning.

Yes , I agree newspaper is effective and economical, but some complain that it leaves ink that is especially noticed on albinos. Im sure it won't hurt.
I've never found ink on any of my albinos.
