Well, today i found out that i was colour deficient , this means that i have trouble destingushing colours. To be more spacific, closely matched shades of green. I started wondering about the difference of the way i see the world, compared to an average person (what i have effects 1 in 10 men, and iscause by the x cromosone from the mother). I posted this in the ball python forum because i had trouble thinking of a snake that has a larger variety of colours, most of which have very interesting green patterens. I would be very interested in finding out what others though about this, and with 1 in 10 odds, theres a good chance you see what i see. Daniel

P.s I have 20/15 vision (better then 20/20), so that is not an issue of how i see.

I too have the some degree of color blindness. I found a website that shows a picture with several degrees/types of color deficiancy (though the difference is probably much less than you are expecting.) Have a look, its pretty neat.

This has always been a philisophical topic of discussion for me. If what I call blue is REALLY the same shade YOU call green, then we see totally different things when we look at the sky, even if we are both calling it blue.

Who knows what "normal" is anyways :)
