This is the new enclosure that I just finished building for my beardie. It's 4'x2'x2' in size. The front has 2 sliding plexiglass doors with knob handles but I removed them for the pictures to avoid glare.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

it wouldn't have taken long but i only worked on it on and off till it was done. you could build it in about two days if you worked on it steady

What are the temps you get in there? How did you find out how to deal with less heat or too much? I have a horned toad lizzy i would love to get a cage like that for.. :)

i still don't quite have the temps i would like. i have the heat bulb on the left side hooked up to a dimmer. the only problem is when you turn the dimmer down the bulb glows less and it gets darker so i end up canging the bulbs around a bit until i get it right.
Very nice, I love the art work :)

Ohh awesome thanks, thats my one big fear. lol figuring out the temps.
Good luck with it ^^
yea that background is reall nice
Wow, really nice enclosure. The background is awesome :)
An idea for the light is, installing a tube light. They dont give of alot of heat and when you have to dim the spot, you still get light from the tubelight. Im not sure if it works, but its an idea.

Really sharp lookin cage! Can I offer a piece of advice? You may want to change the plexi glass to real glass, as beardies can have a tendency to scratch the hell out of plexi glass as high as they can reach. Looks awesome, nice work!

ok, and for us newbies in here... how the heck did you make that amazing encloser?! What are the materials, how did you secure your joints & approx how much to make? I've love to have something like that for all of my kids!!
btw - can someone please explain the numeration of animals to me? I have yet to figure out how someone can have 1.3 cresties, 0.1 balls, 2.1 corns.... i keeps picturing all these animal body parts making up for the "."

wadawas, the numbers say how many of each animal you have. 1.0.0 is a male, 0.1.0 is a female, and 0.0.1 is an unsexed animal you can have more than 1 animal for each thingamabob of decimals (?) like 1.2.0 corns would mean 1 male, 2 female corns.
