OK, just thought of somthing. Popsicle sticks will most likly be made out of pine, which i now is posinious to reptiles. So i am now wondering if I were to coat the wood with somthing (paint, ect..), it wouldn't be harmful. What do you guys think, or am i just being too worried about the pine wood. Thanks

P.s, what do people use to coat their enclosers with? Will this stop the wood from being toxic.

Why even use it if its toxic, why not use something else?

Because this climbing "toy" took me all week, and i would be extremly mad if i had to through it out. If anyone has any ideas of a way to seal the wood with somthing none toxic to snakes please tell me!!!

Well, good news, popsicle sticks are made out of birch, what a relief. Sorry i couldn't saved everyone the trouble, but good luck finding out about that sort of stuff on google, any search with "stick" in it brought up crafts and bridge builing contests. Thanks for your thoughts,
Daniel

as far as i know as if you coat it with epoxy sealer it would have been no longer toxic... i know a few ppl use pine for cages.. you should really coat it anyways

The fact that it may be harmful and that you would negotiate the harm over the "work" it took to build this, says something.

But if its built from non-toxic materials then fine.

It's two levels, the first is a small platform that on a tilt, with a hole in the middle to allow my snake to crawl freely. Then there is another level highr up, access to it is limeted to it by a hole in the middle. I'll try to post a pick.
