A VERY nice Colombian. *Could* be a cross if you aren't sure of its origins, but safe to call it Colombian or Colombian-type.

22 inches eats jumbo mice or medium sized adults.
but my dad made the mistake and got fuzzies for him so they will be gone soon and then comes rats or jjumbo mice.
got him for 120-00

i looked up the file of the pet store i got it from and who there breeders were.
they dont get any snakes from columbia only from argentina and equador.
i asked them if they new whats snakes bred him and he said a male and female columbian boa found in agentina.. thats why i am really asking if it is a columbian cause i am not sure.

oh yeah, how would it be a columbian boa if it was in argentina. only reason i can think of is it was a pet and it got loose and found brought to breeders and all.

the only difference is that he has a littlebit deeper red

the reason i think this is a better pic is because he has the grey ish color now that he is all settle in his new enclosure and he has the light brown bloches and you can tell that that snake is alot older than mine

If its a Colombian and came from Argentina maybe it was caught while it was on vacation :)

That is a common boa(bci) also reffered to as the colombian red tail boa, and a nice looking one to boot.

Colombians come from Colombia, hence the name. Your boa looks like a pure Colombian - definitely not an Argentine cross, but it can only be a good guess since you don't know the history on it (or at least the history isn't reliable).

The pic of your snake looks Colombian to me... a very nice pastel. The latest link you posted looks to be an Argentine x Colombian. You can tell by the connected medallions on the side.

If you say you know for fact both parents were WC Colombians, then why are you asking what it is?

So what ur saying pets from Colombia got loose and made it all the way to argentina? Highly unlikely, the breeder's story sounds kinda fishy so I wouldn't take their word. All u need to know is that u have a nice animal, you'll never be able to find out what locale it's from unless it had paperwork. Since you don't when people ask, just say it's a common bci or a mutt.

Sorry, wasn't paying attention. I thought it was BallPythonLover, which is why I continued with reference to 'your' boa.
