OK, so I have yet another question....
Does anyone hve any info on "exporting/importing" cresties? The reason I ask, is if I were to purchase a crestie in the US, what would I need to cross the border into Canada with it? I searched for an hour on CITES and I couldn't make heads or tails of any of it.
If you guys have any info, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

You don't need a thing! All you need to do is make sure you have a receipt for the geckos, stating price and species. If they do stop you at the border, you might have to wait while they check cites and ministry of agriculture, but cresties are not on either, so you are safe to bring them across. When they ask you how much you spent, tell them the dollar amount, and if they ask on what you spent it, then tell them the geckos. If you want to make sure that the procedure runs quickly and easily, then it's helpful to bring the Cites with you, to show that they are ok to bring across.
All you have to do is pay tax on them at the border. On a side note, I would recommend the Lewiston bridge over any other in the niagara region, as they tend to be the most lenient, as far as not pulling you over to check Cites. You also cannot bring cresties into the states, they have laws against it, unless you have the proper expensive licence.
Good luck, feel free to ask more questions!

I have shipped down to the states even without a import export licence that is the only good thing about free trade you just need to be creative about your reason and try not to exceed more than 7 at a time. However the cost to get the licence is fairly resonable last i checked it was around $150.00 but each border crossing gaurd have diffrent ways of dealing with reptiles as they dont have any specific rules for reptiles. I would also like to let you know that you can pay the full tax amount on your gecko but you are only required to pay the average retail value , i dont think that is the proper wording however i always just print out a add with a picture common and latin name and hopfully a price tag of around $70.00 and once again i would be careful on how many you bring over at a time.
