Just hondos for me - have to have some focus - but glad to see someone is working with the whole range of species. We have had Mexicans, Peublans and Louisiana in the past and enjoy the smaller milks - would love to see some like the Utah and Pale varieties more recognized here.

We had only one, acquired from a local pet shop - I doubted the ID at first - never trust pet stores, but she certainly fit the descriptions. Very tiny snake but vigorous feeder and very pretty. Quite a shy snake. Don't think I have any pics of her - was before I got a digital camera.
We had her only about a year when she developed seizures and died within about an hour or so of the first one. We were working in the snake room at the time they started and didn't note anything abnormal to explain why it might have happened - she just suddenly started to convulse. We wondered about a brain abscess, parasites - but didn't bother trying to get any examination of her at the time. I was disappointed to lose her though - would like to have them again and have never seen any offered anywhere in Canada since.

Conant's Milk Snakes sound interesting.... I'd like to get my hands on some of those and some Coastal Plains Milks.
