I realize this so-called care sheet is 2 years old, but it's still online. Some unsuspecting newbie is going to read it and kill his leopard, frog-eyed gecko, collared lizard and jewelled curly tail in record time.

Care sheet for Leopard Geckos (http://repticzone.com/caresheets/68.html)

If anyone else wants to contact the webmaster to inform him/her about the inaccuracies, go ahead, the more the merrier.

I wonder how hard it would be to make it mandatory world wide for caresheets to be accurate? Yeah, I know, .... dream on.

well it sounds like a young person and amateur, unfortunately the care sounds like that given from a petstore when a purchase is made. I imagine many people go to a petstore and buy with only instructions from the petstore and never research. On the other hand, if someone is going to search for caresheets on the internet, they would probably compare as many as they can find. I would hope, as I do.

Not to defend this person, I myself would never mix my animals. Nore would I ever have a heat rock in my incloser. However even the greatly respected Leopard gecko manual sugests that in a big enough terarium you could mix deferant lizards in one incloser? This I didnt understand muy self but it is there!

I registered and commented. This "care sheet" is horrific!

I'm still shaking my head, wondering how many inexperienced people have had innocent leos die because of this.

It's completely irresponsible!
