My Garters Update

I dont know if everyone knows. But awhile back (a month or two) I caught a garter snake. He's shed, defecated, and is eating fine.

I just checked on him and he is SHEDDING! So far its perfect and he's almost done! I'm so happy with how well he has acclimated.

I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow.

nice, i reasently caught a 3 foot garter and she had babies.
she is eating well and is a very smart girl. i have trained her to open her mouth and allow me to place the food in her mouth but she has times that she snappes and almost takes my finger off!!

thats my sweeties Stumpy and Jessi. I have 2 of those, stumpy is missing the end of his tail, i'm not sure how it happened really. He was found with it. Jessi recently came down with septicemia and isnt looking so good, but Stumpy is alive and well, and he's very fat, he thinks everything is food lol. In fact, thats the spitting image of Jessi, same color patterns on the belly as well. Normally I find my garters with plain bellies, not so much dotted on the sides.
