Big ships anyone?

Thought some of you might find this interesting... the Tall Ships were in Victoria over the weekend -- they were pretty incredible. Lots of people came out to see them -- both local, and people who traveled to Victoria just to see them. One of the ships (the Lady Washington) was used in Pirates of the Carribean -- pretty cool! Unfortunately, it cost money to actually get close to or go on the boats, and I was broke ... :p ... so I got as close as I could without paying, and took some pics. Apparently you could even buy tickets to be on the boats when they performed a mock battle -- now THAT would've been cool. Ah well... maybe next time. Apparently they're coming back in 2008. LOL.

This is the Parliament Building... although I think the correct name is the Legislature. Everyone calls it the Parliament Building anyways though. LOL.

wow.. thoes are amazing.. when i was younger the cabbot boat came to newfoundland.. looks alot like thoes.. amazing arent they.. there just massive.. youd wonder how they would be able to build something like that in the old days,... when there was no power tools
