skink eggs!

my five lined skink just laid eggs. i put her in a 10 gallon tank by herself because i saw another skink eat one of the eggs. should i take the eggs out, let her finish laying and then take all of them out or leave her alone with the eggs until they hatch? please help me i am new to breeding. is anyone interested in a baby skink if they hatch?

I don't know anything about skink eggs but make sure you don't turn them. Its probably best to put them in a deli cup with moist vermiculite in a warm area till you figure out how to properly incubate them.

Yes, separate the skinks from the eggs. You can incubate the eggs in situ (where they are laid) or take them out and put them in dampened vermiculte in a small covered cup.

Don't turn the eggs over and over - just gently remove them and place a small mark on the top (actually the side), then place in the deli cup, you can bury them half way into the vermiculite.

I would have to look up incubation times, but keep the cup of eggs out of drafts and in a place where it is about 78F for the moment.

I don't know much about 5 line skinks but they are definately not like bluey's. ;) Bluey's are live berrers.
I did however do a quick google search and found this page for you. It is more for wild skinks I believe but gives you some awesome info. You should remove the eggs though and incubate them instead of leaving with the mom. That way you can control temps fully. I don't know what temps you would need though but maybe they would be incubated same temps as schneider's? Not sure. Anyway, good luck with them and keep us posted. Would love to see some baby pics if you get any to hatch. :)
