We just got a ******* in our city 5 months ago and there was a beauitful crested that had been there since they opened, so it was pretty much full grown. I went to buy it thinking this is pretty cheap for a full grown one ($60.00) One of the guys went to go get it for me (the guy didnt know squat about any reptiles) He got it in the box but it got under one of the flaps in the box so he messed with the box some more (i dont know why) but the crested got out and fell on the floor so the guy went to grab it but when he grabed it he was holding the tail and it fell off. I was so mad! So I left with not gecko and a bad attitude.
*store name edited out, naming names in a negative light is against the TOS.

I wouldn't shop there again! Don't be afraid to tell ignorant pet store workers how to do their jobs. Or ask for the manager and freak out. Cause a scene!
I would have purchased it anyways. Demanded a half price discount. you could have saved it from the owners and saved some money. The thing is with stores like that the people don't care and if they pretend like they do ask them a series of questions. I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Drink a carton of sour milk and puke on his shoes while asking for crickets..hee hee

Yup, I would've put the chump in his place too! The sour milk thing is a stellar idea too!:D

Remind me David never to tick you off! lol
Reading your post on how to get your revenge actually made me think about doing that to some place of business who might have ticked me off............

Sunday 6-19-2005 I stopped back at Petco and was very pleased in how they ended up dealing with the situation. They put the crested up for adoption and I chose to adopt it. I will post pictures later of my free crested.

Uncle Bills is a pretty neat store, they have a lot of stuff to look at. I go there almost everytime we go to the reptile show in indy.
