This is the first litter produced by this young pair of Dumeril's boas, and that resulted in their producing a small but healthy litter of 5 very stunning looking babies, all live born no slugs.

Some of these guys are still in shed, but their colours are still truly amazing... And even better than what I can capture in these pictures.

Enjoy,

Hmmm... for some reason, the only pic that shows up for me is the adults. None of the baby pics seem to be working :(

Congrats all the same on the litter though -- I'm sure they're awesome! :)

Congratulations on the new arrivals.

I too, am unable to see the babes, but no doubt they are a good looking bunch.

You say the parents were a 'young pair'. Could you tell us exactly how old the parents are?

Dumerils are one of my favourite boas.

Good luck with your new arrivals!

I am still interested in what age the parents of your babies are.

Did everyone else manage see the photos yet? No luck at my end!

Hope the little ones are all doing well.

Thanks Tim it worked!

I kept clicking on the little white squares with the red 'X' in them but sweet beep happened, even when I clicked onto the 'show photo' option. Not too bright you know.

Beautiful babies indeed.

I am still curious however in knowing the age of the parents as I am hoping to introduce one of my pairs of Dumerils next season, and I just wondered how young is considered 'young' in this instance, especially as it was mentioned by the breeders in the initial posting.

I suppose the size of the mother would also be of interest, but one doesn't want to ask too many questions, does one?

I am in no hurry in attempting to breed mine, but am merely interested in the circumstances surrounding the successful breedings achieved by others.
