Hey everybody, I just wanted to start off by saying that I've had my very first leo now for about 6wks and he/she is about 8 or 9wks old, and everything seems to be going well no big problems or mishaps, and I just love the little thing... they are so interesting to watch no matter they're doing. Her's a pic of my little critter.http://img253.echo.cx/img253/1494/picture0022bg.th.jpg (http://img253.echo.cx/my.php?image=picture0022bg.jpg)

I just have a few questions.
When it comes to feeding it the darn thing never seems to get full... one time I thought it was going to throw up cause it had a very full belly(almost lumpy with food here's a pic)

If you can't see it look between the two middle stripes and then then look down at its belly. It didn' t throw up at that feeding, although I thought it was going to.
My question is, when is it gonna stop being soo hungry? All it seems to want to do right now is hunt and hunt and eat and eat. It even thinks that I'm food. It used to be afraid of me when I would put my hand in the tank for cleaning, or to give it water. But now it won't stop trying to bite me. Even when I do that trick, you know .. leave your hand in the tank for 5min a day so it gets used to you, first it would snap its jaw too soon and butt me with its nose, but know it tries to take repeated bites and won't stop until I take my hand out... maybe I smell bad? LOL. Maybe its just an agressive leo. And my next question is, how long do they usually take to get tamed when they are agressive?
My last question is, at what age do they stop changing colour and stop getting spots, or do they always keep changing until they die.

Thanks in advance for your help.

you should only be feeding it a couple of crickets at a time but you can feed it more then once a day, what i do with my baby fat tails is i feed them about 4-5 1/2 inch crickets 2-3 times a day so that they have timke to digest from the previous meal

To answer a few of you questions. You only need feed the little guy once a day. Feed at night as loes are nocturnal and crix may disturb much needed rest for a growing guy. Put in around 8-10 half inch crix before bed and they will be gone by morning. I have never seen one over eat. As for the trying to bite you at this stage he is still very small and so you can understand that you are a giant to him. Give him time he will grow fast. And as he dose he will lose the urge to try and eat you!
