I spotted this snake swimming in lake in southern Quebec, anyone have any idea what it is????

it looks a lot like a banded water snake which is native to michigan

Northern watersnake .... 100% ....... they are in northern quebec but not to far north there are also in southern quebec as well and have seen one in my life right in the heart of the city in montreal in a canal. Nice pic though...
