I'm thinking of getting a baby burm........ but I am unsure about the temperment of these snakes.... can anyone give any advice on why I should or should not get one....... (p.s. I have the room, space, and funds to care for such a large snake of this size)......

they are nice after a few weeks of holding htem.. at first they will bite you energetically and repeadily =)
most baby burms are quite nippy. frequent handling will help get them more use to you. once it starts to get a bit of size it will be much calmer but dont wait for it to get calm with out holding it, be ready to take a few bites.

my male burm was a nightmare for the first 3 weeks, now he loves to be handled, but i never got bit, i never let him, snake hook will be your best friend..
Yea my burm was real nippy at first(it doesnt hurt when they are that young) but yea he was totally calm and docile after like 2 weeks, as far as caging I would get like a animalplastic cage or just build your own. I keep my temp at like 78-80 on one side then in the 90s on the basking side.
