Looking at the dentition I would say it's a herbivore. Thick head with large fleshy nose. Short neck and some serious scapula. Not a very agile animal. Makes me think aquatic mammal. I would hazard a guess at a manatee?

Oh...I wasn't refering to you Jen----my post sounded confusing. I thought it was brilliant the way you worded your first post. I thought it was cool. Excellent guess!! Do you work at a zoo?

I am actually a veterinary technician by trade.
I have volunteered at the local zoo/aquarium, assisted conservation officers, and special effects using many different body parts. I also collect skulls and or skeletons.
I think what helped me most is I watch every single nature show I can find.

very cool!

I collect skulls/bones, too---I love to photograph them as well. Veterinary technician--oh, how I wanted to do that but my allergies won't have it. :(

You should be a vet with your talent of identifying animals.

yeah you do.. you have to have a lot of training... i should know my fiance is going to be a vet after colege.. and he just started.. and i seen a lot of his homework.... i could become a vet but man.. i would really get 2 attached to the animals....
