i dont know much about kingsnakes but if i was you i would not use that sand, ..... well wait do you feed it in a different container ?? if so then nevermind cuz if you fed it in the same cage then when it trys to eat the sand will get all in its mouth. :)
other than that very cool snake and cool cage

is that sand? if so, there are multiple reason why it isn't a good substrate for a king. i would suggest aspen mulch, carefresh, newspaper or butcher paper.

i do feed it in a seperate container. have been for ages now. but someone else doesnt like the idea at all i guess....

why? whats wrong with it? someone said it was fine. i dont feed him on the sand. isnt that good enough? if not ill do whatever it is you say asap i guess. is moss ok? some people at the big pet store told me moss is ok. where can i get carefresh and what is it? same for aspen mulch....where/what?
