maybe they are like pre-teens, shooting blanks, and not ready yet... just practicing....practice does make perfect.

They'l copulate left right and center but the female won't cycle until she's got adequate nesting spots, food sources etc.... Your substrate doesn't look right, I'd be surprised if she nested properly.
I'd get some dirt and make sure it holds a burrow... Potting soil sucks!! But good luck to you!

I know that they have had 3 clutches before i got them with 7 eggs in each clutch and they are in dirt and compost (50-50 mix) She seems to have no problem making tunnels in it Besides can't you see the smile on her face? I think she"s quite happy lol
haha, yeah I know, it's difficult to see your setup over the net. I actually sold that pair to Matt before you got them. They produced a few times for me also. I had them with my current pair who just laid eggs about 2 months ago.
I recommend getting yourself a good incubator built ahead of time. Be very cautious of moisture, they seem to be VERY picky. Not too dry, not too moist.. a 1:1 ratio of water and perlite seems to work best at around 88 degrees.
If she can tunnel thats great. To ensure she can find a nice warm spot to deposit eggs, get some slate and put it on the surface of the dirt so it heats up the dirt below nicely for her. They tend to choose warm spots.
